I have had the privilege of visiting Boston, Lexington and Concord, seeing places where our country had its beginnings. I have seen Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Fort McHenry in Baltimore Harbor, and our nation’s capital in Washington DC. While in Washington I noticed many of the old buildings had various references to God carved into their foundations. Throughout my tour of our significant founding locations I learned how close to God our founders and the following generations were.

But now as I encounter people and watch the news, I have great concern over what our country has become. Rather than a nation of people who place their trust in God we have a growing number of people who don’t even believe he exists.

I wanted to educate people on our heritage, in particular, what our founders thought about God and Governement. One of the ways that came to mind was this website and a contest promoting our national motto, “In God we Trust”. So after two years of consideration, mostly two years of procrastination, I decided around March 1, 2015 to commit the effort to God and just do it. And as I trust in God for the righteousness of my intention and the success of these projects, I have seen him work in opening doors and providing people that are interested in supporting these community efforts.

As it says on the top of the Washington Monument, Laus Deo, Praise be to God.
